Natural Vasodilators And Great Sex

Last updated on January 25, 2020

When we talk about great sex and powerful orgasm, we need to talk about the vascular system, and about the food we eat. Food for great sex is that which nourishes blood vessels and keeps them free from plaque accumulation. Foods can also increase nitric oxide in the body, being natural vasodilators. This means that they open blood vessels to bring more blood flow to the place we want it most during sex, the genitals.

When blood flows freely and abundantly to the sex organs, women and men will see magnificent sexual pleasure and powerful orgasm.  The food we eat very much affects our vascular system both in the long term, and the short-term.  Researchers have documented changes in how well blood vessels work even after a single meal.

Arteries and Sex

Arteries carry oxygen-rich blood to all the tissues of the body, including the genitals. Diet affects our arteries’ ability to deliver good blood supply, even in healthy people showing no signs of cardiovascular  issues.   What most people don’t know is that nearly all of us already have visible plaque accumulating in our arteries by the time we finish high school.  Researchers discovered this when doing autopsies on young adults who had died in accidents or in war.  They found that nearly all of the young people they examined had early coronary heart disease, but that it was too early at this stage to cause heart attack. This is especially important for sexual function, because the arteries of the penis and clitoris are very small. Plaque accumulation will therefore block blood flow in these arteries well before they affect larger arteries like the aorta.

Good blood flow to the genitals is critical to great sex, for men AND Women. There is strong evidence that sexual arousal, pleasure and orgasm are all affected by the quality of blood flow to the genitals.  The quality of male erections is very much related to the state of his vascular system, and a major early sign of cardiovascular issues is erectile dysfunction. Women too have better sex when there is more blood flow to the genitals, reporting higher sexual arousal, better clitoral sensitivity and greater satisfaction.

Foods as Natural Vasodilators

When we think about good food sex, we consider foods that both nourish blood vessels and limit damage to them. Especially good for for the vascular system are leafy greens, which have lots of naturally occurring dietary nitrates, which increase nitric oxide in the body and are also natural vasodilators. In general, a diet low in fat and high in fruits and vegetables cares for blood vessels and limits plaque. for optimal blood flow and great sex!

Hot sex.  Naturally. That’s what this blog is about. Hot sex is understood universally.  No translation needed.  Hard. Wet. Eager. Carnal. It’s the biological design of the human body and we must care for it. What we take into our bodies must nurture the vessels that supply blood to our sex organs, the nerves that command them, and the hormones that regulate them. In doing so we will bring out all that is possible from our own sensual physiology.
