Food and Sex: The Squirrel at McDonald’s

Last updated on January 25, 2020

Animals may not understand the relationship between food and sex, but they sure do eat better for sexual function than we do. I don’t like McDonald’s, but my ex-husband used to go to go there every day for a $1 cup of coffee.  There was a tree on the side of the parking lot, along with a brown plastic McDonald’s garbage bin where customers could dispose of their refuse.  One day, as we sat in the car waiting for someone to bring out the coffee, I saw a squirrel going in and out of the garbage. It would run down the tree, into the garbage, then a moment later it would run back up the tree.  It repeated this process several times, and I saw this same squirrel on several visits.  I had never seen a squirrel that looked like this one.   It had a huge, fat ass with misshapen love handles.  It struck me that it looked kind of like me, and like many Americans.

Animals in the wild naturally eat what’s right for them and their tastes reflect nutritional requirements.  You don’t ever see an an animal whose watching its figure, trying to eat less or cut calories.  They don’t need to.  They eat the right food for their physiology, which naturally promotes healthy body shape.  They might store some fat for the winter, but they never get to be Jabba-the-hut, can’t-leave-their-cave-sized because they wouldn’t survive.

Evolution has created a system whereby our traits and behaviors are adaptive.  Adaptive means that these traits promote survival. Calories in, calories out is the popular motto for maintaining proper weight.  When we eat in excess, our bodies store the excess as fat for later, just like grizzly bears right? But what is adaptive about a 300, 400 or 500 pound person, unable to run away from a predator, and whose dick doesn’t work?  Why would our bodies continue to tell us to eat when we have so much excess weight that we can’t survive, or promote the survival of our species? Our diets must appreciate the relationship between food and sex.

The food that’s produced today goes against the physiological design of our bodies.  So seductive is it, tempting even a squirrel, whose body thrives on nuts, to keep coming back for more and more, all the while corrupting Mother Nature.

I saw this documentary about these monkeys who lived in Indian cities, hanging out on rooftops.  They would go around stealing food from people. Since we, as human beings, have lost our natural inclination for what food is good for us, I am always curious to see what our biological cousins like to eat. Everything the monkeys stole were fruits and vegetables.  They snuck in open windows of houses and emerged with butternut squash, eating them raw.  They staked out farm stands and, at precisely the right moment, swooped in to steal fresh mangos and other ripe fruit.

Food and sex. How are they related?  Great sex does not come in a Happy Meal box, it comes from eating the foods human beings evolved to eat.  Unnatural eating causes sluggish sexuality by impeding the flow of qi (nerve conductivity) and blood, such as the case with plaque-accumulation in the penile and clitoral arteries. Maximum sexual pleasure comes with nourishing ones body as nature intended, with wholesome food.  Mother Nature’s beautiful gifts kindly care for our bodies, nourish blood vessels and allow for the free flow of qi and blood to the sex organs, which makes for the best sex.

Hot sex.  Naturally. That’s what this blog is about. Hot sex is understood universally.  No translation needed.  Hard. Wet. Eager. Carnal. It’s the biological design of the human body and we must care for it. What we take into our bodies must nurture the vessels that supply blood to our sex organs, the nerves that command them, and the hormones that regulate them. In doing so we will bring out all that is possible from our own sensual physiology.
